Greetings to the Members of the Nichols College Class of 2022,
Congratulations on your graduation! You should be very proud of the legacy each and every one of you made in your time here at Nichols. Wherever your life’s journey takes you next, your Nichols experience has prepared you to succeed both personally and professionally. In the one year we spent together, you have demonstrated talent, commitment, and resilience to truly embody what it means to be a Nichols College Bison.
The spirit and leadership shown by Nichols’ seniors this year has been extraordinary. You have pursued academic excellence and studied diligently, enhanced your abilities through internships and leadership positions such as being captains and club presidents, excelled in your athletic competitions, and helped others through community service such as volunteering at the Bison Pantry. Your contributions and achievements are a source of great pride to Nichols’ dedicated faculty and staff.
The Class of 2022 is graduating at a time when a Nichols degree has never had greater value. Our approach to a real-world education is exactly why Nichols graduates are in high demand. Your Nichols education has provided you with the core 21st century skills that are needed now and will be needed long into the future. Today marks an important transition in your relationship with Nichols College. It is our responsibility to continue to advance strategic goals that enhance the value of a Nichols degree and increase the competitive advantage of your diploma.
As a new member of the Nichols Alumni Association, you join a powerful network of accomplished women and men around the Nation. We ask you to remain engaged in the life of our community and cultivate the principle “Bison Help Bison.” I look forward to welcoming you back home when you attend alumni events, cheer on our athletic teams to victory, and lend a hand to a fellow Bison for internship or job opportunities.
The entire Nichols community- our trustees, Cabinet, faculty and staff- is proud of your achievements and confident about your future. You have been an exceptional class and we thank you for all you have contributed to the Hill. As you depart campus, I know that you will build upon the extraordinary foundation your Nichols education has provided. Marla and I extend our very best wishes for a lifetime of success and fulfillment. Even though you may be leaving the Hill as a student today, your new journey as a Bison alumnus is just beginning and you will always have a home here.
Go Books. Go Bison.
